About the photographer

Who am I?  Some may question, others will know.   My name is Sherrie, and yes, I'm one of the friendly faces you seen gracing the Picture Me! studios in the Hopkins, Christian, and Daviess county areas for the past few years.   This is not a hobby for me, but a career choice that I have chosen to follow.  I do have professional training in a studio situation, and while, at the moment, I don't have a studio.  I hope to very soon.

As a person, I wear many hats.  Photographer is just one of them.   I'm also a mother, a girl scout leader, and a college student.   Doing this has allowed me to pursue the dreams of my life, while not loosing anytime with my family!

Daily struggle is part of everyone's life.  It's how we get through it that makes us who we are.  I'm hoping that this endeavor will allow for all of you to see that's while it's easier to "work for the man"  it's so much more rewarding to be able to work for yourself.

New Beginnings.... a start

It's time.   For what you ask? It's time to shed the corporate bounds and working 50 hours a week for the man, and start working for me and my family.    It's time to stop playing in the wading pool with the ducklings and start soaring with the eagles.

Have you ever been too scared to fly?    Too scared to step out on your own and make your own way?   That's been me for the past month.  I've been wavering on making a decision that will allow for me to be the mother I've always wanted to be while continuing to pursue a dream that I love.

Let's see where this will take me...  and pray that it is as far as I want to go.    See you later Corporate America....
